Harpist SE46
Covering; London & The South East

This harpist is one of the most popular and in demand harpists in London and the South East, with over fifteen years experience in performing music for weddings. She can play beautiful music in a wide range of styles, everything from classical to pop, folk music to jazz. Whether you require music to accompany the ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast, Louisa will delight in performing music specially chosen by you to ensure that your special day is truly heavenly.

Harpist SE46 first fell in love with the harp at the tender age of 3 after being taken to see the Nutcracker ballet.

While most little girls were dreaming of being ballerinas, a beautiful gold harp caught her eye and so the idea was planted. After years of begging, she had her first harp lessons at the age of six years old . She soon progressed and at eleven won a scholarship to the prestigious Purcell School of Music. Her studies continued at Trinity College of Music where her teachers were Sioned Williams, Imogen Barford and Gabriella Dal’Olio.

She  was the first harpist at Trinity College to graduate with a first class degree and whilst undertaking her postgraduate studies was invited to perform a concerto at the Royal Festival Hall with the Trinity College symphony orchestra and was awarded the Silver Prize for string players.

Since leaving college, harp player has had a busy career  working with many of the many professional orchestras in the United Kingdom.

These include the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia, London Philharmonic, Ulster Orchestra, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Ballet and at the Royal Opera House.

She has given recitals at The Purcell Room, Southbank Centre, Fairfield Halls, Southwark Cathedral and St Martins in the Fields in Trafalgar Square and been broadcast many times on Radio Three. She was the featured soloist in a BBC television documentary on Benjamin Britten

As a harpist for functions, she has performed at the many beautiful venues and hotels in London and the South East, from Claridges to The Ritz and the Houses of Parliament.

She has performed for many celebrities and as part of the Trafalgar Day celebrations she was invited to perform at an intimate dinner for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

She is in great demand as a harpist for weddings and takes great pleasure in creating the right atmosphere through through specifically chosen music. At Christmas time she can usually be seen performing in the Nutcracker ballet orchestra in London and hopefully inspiring future generations of harpists as she herself was once inspired!

Hi Mandy,

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how pleased we were with the harpists performance at our wedding on 13th October.
Our guests all said that the music created a lovely ambiance and really gave the ceremony a special touch. Her performance
was seamless and it was so nice to know that the stop/start points were all in hand.

I also have to mention that I was really impressed by her repertoire and also her flexibility around confirmation of Music choices.
The week before the wedding was quite hectic in the end and we didn't manage to confirm our music choices until very late on the day before.

Many thanks for allowing us to connect with her prior to the event. The service that you offer is excellent and definitely helped ease the wedding planning!

I have attached a photo of her performing on the day.

Many thanks again,
Julia & Mat

Hi ,
Just wanted to send you a quick email before we head off on honeymoon to say thank you very much for your performance on Saturday.

The music was lovely (I did actually register it even though it felt like the ceremony was over in 30 seconds!!). The harp has a special
significance for me as I'm from Wales originally so it was just perfect.  Thank you again and please do let me know if we can write a
testimonial for you? Our guests also said you playing was lovely.

Thanks again,
Jules & Mat x

Dear Mandy,

I would like to thank you for arranging the harpist, on my parents special day. (Ruby Wedding Anniversary)

Harpist SE46 was fabulously brilliant!!!  She has an extensive repertoire and played with such skill and grace. All of the guests were extremely impressed.  Her performance made the night truly memorable.  Our only regret was that we should have booked her for longer than an hour.  She is a tremendously talented musician, and we cannot wait to host another family celebration in order to hear her play again. She added a sophisticated element to a marvellous evening.

Best wishes & thanks!!!!!

Hi Mandy – I just wanted to mention that Tuesday’s event went very well.  We were blessed with the sunshine, as it was an outdoor event, though we had a marquee in case of rain.

But having the harpist playing the harp at the event really elevated the occasion to another level.  Everyone commented on how lovely and enjoyable the occasion was, the music played gave it just the required ambience the event warranted.  I didn’t specifically ask for any type of music to be played but she played a very wide range of music from classical to contemporary, and it was great to see how many people were delighted by her presence and the music she played.

I would certainly book her again if we had a similar event in the future.

Kind regards, Vicky
