Harpist SE49
Covering; London & The South East

SE49 has been performing most of her life and started lessons in both harp and singing from the tender age of 9 years old.  She has since trained at both the Guildhall School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music.  At just 13 she won BBC Choirgirl of the year which led to her first professional performance with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall.  She later went on to Central School of Speech and Drama gaining a BA Acting Degree.

She is equally at home playing the harp with or without vocals which makes her extremely versatile at all kinds of events.  From weddings to corporate events and funerals to private parties.

For a wedding she can play instrumentally as you walk down the aisle then play with vocals during the signing of the register, be it a church or civil ceremony.  Also a mixture of both during the drinks reception and/or wedding breakfast.  She can perform up to 4 x 45 minute sets with a combination of light classical, traditional folk, musical theatre and contemporary.  She is adding constantly to her vast repertoire by arranging and composing music for soprano and harp.  She will happily arrange a special piece on request where possible.

She has even used all three of her talents combining her acting skills on Holby City playing a harpist.

As an established Soprano she has performed with the London Symphony Orchestra, Tenebrae, sung solo at the Royal Festival Hall and with the BBC Concert Orchestra.  She has featured as a soloist in Sunday Half Hour, Good Morning Sunday, Friday Night is Music Night, Daily Service and Songs of Praise.  She has numerous recordings to her name one of which led her to perform at the Classic Brits at the Royal Albert Hall.  She reached the final 20 in the BBC show “How do you solve a problem like Maria” which led her to perform at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sydmonton Festival broadcast on BBC1 and featured as a soloist in the Olympics Opening Ceremony in London 2012.  Recently she performed with Gareth Malone’s Voice at Children in Need and The Royal Variety Show.

As an actress she has had numerous roles including Princess Jasmine opposite Bradley Walsh in Aladdin and Snow White opposite Linda Lusardi.

"With grateful thanks…you were all we hoped for and more."

Mark Thatcher – after the service of the burial of ashes of Baroness Margaret Thatcher

“Thank you for your playing and singing – enjoyed by all and commented on with praise by several”.

Andrewjohn Stephenson Clarke, High Sheriff of West Sussex 2012/13

Warm applause also greeted the performance of Eloise Irving whose clarity of diction and graceful pronunciation of Bach clearly mark her as one of the leading exponents of Baroque music for solo voices.

Simon Rothon – Mid Sussex Times

I cannot thank you enough for your outstanding contribution to the success of last night's concert. Your interpretation of the solos in my piece won everyone's admiration and I was thrilled.

Robert Hammersley –conductor of Ardingly Choral Society

Just a quick email to say thank you for playing/singing at our wedding in Avening on Friday. Walking up the aisle to you playing the harp so beautifully was the perfect beginning to a perfect day! All of our guests commented on your performance whilst we were signing the register.

Becci & Gio – bride and groom

It is not often that the entertainment at a City event is received by an audience with such rapt attention as was your sublime performance last evening at Pewterers’ Hall.  The word “magical” is perhaps used too often in today’s over-hyped society but no other word is more suitable.  It was a privilege to be present.

Terry Winter, Past Master & Treasurer of Pewterer’ Hall

Thank you for your lovely voice and harp playing. I am very impressed by the manner in which you deal with people.

Robert Newell CVO Director-General, Royal Over-Sea’s League.

“Your performance moved me to tears, you were stunning”!

Stephanie Metcalfe – bride

Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful performance and concert on Sunday afternoon. The feedback has been nothing short of fantastic!

Guy Berkeley – Chairman of the Friends of Holy Trinity Church, Cuckfield
